Ever since I started this newsletter I ended it with "One Witchy Thing," usually a screenshot or a quote that a large portion of this audience is likely to feel/get a kick out of. I have to keep an eye out for them. They have to be the right length and tone. Often I screenshot them and hang onto them for awhile and then when it's time to send an issue I look at my inventory and see what I'm in the mood to stick in there.
Since I never know ahead of time what a good One Witchy Thing will be about, I also save a file of gifs I've collected over the years that have a tone or message that may seem promising to illustrate a One Witchy Thing in the future. Many of these are amusing but never seem to match the One Witchy Things I want to run and thus get passed over every time I open my gif file, which gets fuller and fuller and takes more time to look through every time I send an issue.
Once in a while I dump out my folders to make room for new stuff to start with a fresher batch. Enjoy the below and see if you can envision a world in which I thought these images below at one point would apply to being a mother in the modern world:
