Yes! This! ….. I cancelled hosting Christmas Eve dinner (no drama, just said I wasn’t going to do it this year). We will see “everyone” on Christmas day, and my hubby and i are planning a slow, at-home, just-us Eve with the kiddos and dogs. Loves it, right?? @Claire Zulkey

Ack, it makes me sad/mad that anyone would dare criticize the woman, the myth, the legend behind this brilliant newsletter, which brings me so much cathartic satisfaction. I'm sorry you ever feel hesitation before blessing us with your latest installment, and I hope you know how much you are admired and appreciated! Oooooh that adhd behavioral questionnaire post!!!! I needed that! Those questionnaires are the most subjective and ridiculous things. The one I filled out for my daughter literally asked if she ever acted weird or strange. Of course she has, she’s a kid! They’re all weirdos! Also, whose definition of strange are we using because I think it’s strange to eat boogers, but 90% of 5 year olds would argue with me on that one.

Thank you! My friend was just filling out that form and asking me about it. You feel like if you fill out the one wrong thing "often" vs "sometimes" they're going to give your kid the whole wrong diagnosis and send you all on some pharmaceutical path to hell!

It’s so true!!! We actually opted not to answer some of the questions because we felt they were open to too much interpretation.
